KDF®-85 is a water treatment media composed of high purity copper and zinc granules that can be used to remove dissolved (ferrous) iron and hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg odor) through an
oxidation/reduction (redox) reaction.

KDF-85 granules are used to remove or reduce iron and hydrogen sulfide from water supplies. This water treatment media is also used for controlling scale, bacteria, and algae. KDF-F fine mesh granules can be incorporated into carbon blocks and other matrices.
